Then there was that summer in The Hampton's, Hot Dog Beach. My best friends were in a band called Vixen. Steven decided he wanted to work with the road crew for the band. So I got him the job, I don't think he knew what he was in for. Steve was never a drinker or the club type of guy. That changed quickly. back in that day the groupies would try to hook up with the road crew just to get to the band. Every night a different club, a different town. I remember finding him passed out on hot dog beach one Sunday morning, totally out for the count after a three night show there. I woke him and he looked at me rolled over, threw up and swore he would never spend 3 days drinking again. I don't think he ever did. It was a fun summer and I have lots of memories of it, but what happens in the Hampton's, stays in the Hampton's
